L.I.F.E., dedicated to fostering a safer community through gun violence awareness and gun safety, is investing in our youth with a six-week babysitting course designed for young* individuals eager to make a difference.

• Master CPR and first aid**
• Discover the qualities of an excellent babysitter
• Understand the benefits of being a top-notch babysitter
• Learn how to find a job, write a resume, and ask the right questions to parents
• Gain insights on caring for infants, toddlers, preschool, and school-aged children
• Develop strategies for keeping yourself and the children in your care safe and handling problem-solving
• Prepare for minor accidents and emergencies with confidence

*Although there is no legal age in Michigan for youth to babysit, we prefer that the student turn 12 by March 1, 2025.
**To receive the Red Cross CPR and first aid certification, the student MUST attend and participate in the whole training on March 8, 2025.
